"There are so many crazy rumors flying around today. I’d like to clear a few things up. First, Joe and I did split but it wasn’t over the phone. Things didn’t work out but we’ll remain friends. Secondly, I am NOT dating anybody already. Nothing is more important to me than the relationship I have with my fans.. Just thought you guys should know this."

akhirnya... dengan usaha mati-matian, dengan memakan waktu cukup banyak (hampir 1 jam-an bikinnya)  gue berhasil buat sebuah pyramid yang cukup besar dengan 8 lantai.. yeeha...!!! I did it!! I DID IT!!  ok.. ini ada beberapa dokumentasi/ foto pyramid nya..... Ingat!! ini asli buatan gue!! tanpa rekayasa!! tanpa campur tangan orang lain... aku senang.. :D :')

Tau film "1 litre of tears"? atau versi indonesianya yaitu "Buku Harian Nayla"? film yang sangat amat menyentuh... kedua film itu menceritakan tentang seorang anak muda yang mengidap penyakit ataksia...

Ini sekedar pengetahuan... penjelasan ataksia sebagai berikut..

Ataksia (ataxia)

DEFINISI Ataksia sering muncul ketika bagian dari sistem saraf yang mengendalikan gerakan mengalami kerusakan. Penderita ataksia mengalami kegagalan kontrol otot pada tangan dan kaki mereka, sehingga menghasilkan kurangnya keseimbangan dan koordinasi atau gangguan gait (Glucosamine/chondroitin Arthritis Intervention Trial). Ataksia Friedreich merupakan penyakit menurun yang menyebabkan kerusakan progresif terhadap sistem saraf sehingga menyebabkan gangguan gait dan masalah berbicara sampai penyakit jantung. Penyakit ini dinamakan seperti dokter Nicholaus Friedreich, yang pertama kali mendeskripsikan kondisi tersebut pada tahun 1980. Ataksia yang merupakan gangguan koordinasi seperti kikuk atau gerakan canggung dan tidak kokoh, muncul pada banyak penyakit dan kondisi. Ataksia Friedreich disebabkan kemunduran jaringan saraf pada urat saraf tulang belakang (spinal cord) dan saraf yang mengendalikan gerakan otot pada lengan dan kaki. Urat saraf menjadi tipis dan sel-sel saraf kehilangan serabut myelin. Ataksia Friedriech, meskipun jarang merupakan ataksia yang paling sering diturunkan dan terjadi pada wanita dan pria dengan risiko yang sama.

PENYEBAB Sebagian besar gangguan yang menghasilkan ataksia menyebabkan bagian dari otak yang disebut serebelum (otak kecil) memburuk atau atrofi. Kadang urat saraf tulang belakang (spinal cord) juga terpengaruh. Degenerasi serebelar dan spinosereberal digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan perubahan yang terjadi pada sistem saraf manusia, namun bukan diagnosa yang spesifik. Degenerasi serebelar dan spinosereberal memiliki banyak penyebab.

GEJALA Gejala dan waktu onset tergantung dari tipe ataksia. Bahkan terdapat banyak variasi dalam keluarga yang sama dengan tipe ataksia yang sama. Kelainan resesif umumnya menyebabkan gejala yang dimulai sejak masa kanak-kanak dibandingkan dewasa. Bagaimanapun, dalam tahun-tahun terakhir, sejak tes genetik tersedia, diketahui ataksia Friedreich mulai terjadi saat dewasa pada beberapa kasus. Ataksia dominan sering muncul pada umur 20 tahun sampai 30 tahun atau bahkan lebih tua lagi. Kadang individu dapat tidak menunjukkan gejala sampai usia 60 tahun. Biasanya keseimbangan dan koordinasi yang dipengaruhi pertama kali. Tidak adanya koordinasi tangan, lengan dan kaki dan kemampuan berbicara adalah gejala umum lainnya. Berjalan menjadi semakin sulit dan ditandai oleh berjalan dengan menempatkan kaki semakin jauh untuk mengimbangi keseimbangan yang buruk. Gangguan koordinasi lengan dan tangan mempengaruhi kemampuan seseorang untuk melakukan kontrol gerak yang baik seperti menulis dan memakan. Gerakan mata yang lambat dapat dilihat pada beberapa bentuk ataksia. Seiring berjalannya waktu, ataksia dapat mempengaruhi kemampuan berbicara & menelan. Ataksia yang diwariskan merupakan kelainan degeneratif yang berkembang selama beberapa tahun. Seberapa parah dan kemungkinan berujung pada kematian tergantung tipe ataksia, usia dimulainya gejala dan faktor lain hanya sedikit dipahami saat ini. Komplikasi saluran pernapasan dapat menjadi fatal pada orang yang ?bed bound? atau memiliki masalah menelan yang parah.

DIAGNOSA Diagnosa ataksia Friedreich dilakukan berdasarkan pemeriksaan klinis termasuk riwayat medis dan melalui pemeriksaan fisik. Tes yang dilakukan meliputi: Elektromiogram (EMG), yang mengukur aktivitas elektrik sel-sel otot. Studi pengantaran saraf, yang mengukur kecepatan saraf meneruskan rangsangan. Elektrokardiogram (EKG), yang memberikan hasil grafik aktivitas elektrik atau pola denyut jantung Ekokardiogram, yang merekam posisi dan gerakan otot jantung. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) atau scan computed tomography (CT) scan, yang menyediakan gambar otak dan urat saraf tulang belakang. Ketukan tulang belakang (spinal tap) untuk mengevaluasi cairan serebrospinal. Tes darah dan urin untuk mengetahui naiknya kadar glukosa. Tes genetik untuk mengidentifikasi gen yang dipengaruhi.

PENGOBATAN Seiring dengan banyaknya penyakit degeneratif pada sistem saraf, tidak ada obat atau pengobatan yang efektif untuk Ataksia Friedriech. Bagaimana pun, banyak gejala dan komplikasi yang dapat diobati untuk membantu pasien mempertahankan fungsi optimal selama mungkin. Diabetes, jika ada, dapat diobati dengan diet dan obat seperti insulin dan beberapa penyakit jantung juga dapat diobati dengan obat. Masalah orthopedi seperti deformitis kaki dan skoliosis dapat diatasi dengan alat penguat atau operasi. Terapi fisik dapat memperlama penggunaan lengan dan kaki. Peneliti berharap kemajuan dalam memahami genetik ataksia Friedriech dapat menjadi pemecahan dalam pengobatan.
